Shoe museum? Seriously? Squee!

I love shoes so much so there was no doubt I’d be visiting the Bata Shoe Museum during my visit to Toronto. I found out about it through one of my favorite websites, Atlas Obscura, and knew it was for me. They had a rotating collection of shoes all throughout history from the earliest days of man until the present.

They even had Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor’s shoes as well as KISS boots, boots from the stage show Kinky Boots, and others that were just fantastic to look at.

I’d totally go back again to see what other shoes they rotate into the exhibit. Victorian Button Boots

I had a great time in Toronto and will post more about it soon. Summer Cummings is coming to visit tomorrow so I must prepare for her stay now. Enjoy the photos!
